Took Plaquenil for years-no results. Changed neuros and even the Ms neuro thought I had Sjogren's due to history - positive Schrimer test, swollen and infected parotid glands, joint pain, etc. Finally Ms neuro ordered a lip biopsy which confirmed once and for all that I did NOT have SS but I had MS.
