    Hair loss and Plaquenil? DailyStrength I would also suggest giving it some more time especially since the side effects of plaquenil are supposed to lessen after a few months of use. Did your hair loss start within a few weeks or beginning of your use of plaquenil? I've never had significant hair loss but from reading posts and info its just a side effect of lupus.
