    I have spent that last couple of years really going down hill. I just woke because my husband stopped by the house to see how I was doing and he woke me up. At least now there is a diagnosis and I will begin treatment starting tonight with the gabapentin. Gonna have to explain to my boss why I was not at the office this morning as expected.

    I take metho 2.5mg weekly and 5 mg folic weekly and hydrox 200 mg twice a day, been taking for over a year now but although it helps with some of the pain.   5. I am taking 25mg MTX now and so far, my liver results have been OK, since I started taking it in April. I presume you Rheumy is ordering regular blood tests on MTX. Plaquenil - you need to see an Opthamologist every six months as it can affect the retina in the eye. Any RA drugs can take months to before they kick in, too.
