    I have been taking plaquenil for about 5 months. I have been back at work since the beginning of September. I am still somewhat tired, but am able to make it through a day at work without feeling like a mack truck has hit me. I am not dripping sweat as frequently as I had been two months ago and able to do more before getting completely winded. Could the plaquenil have contributed to.     Today, it is used to treat rheumatoid arthritis, some symptoms of lupus, childhood arthritis (or juvenile idiopathic arthritis) and other autoimmune diseases. Hydroxychloroquine is in a class of medications that was first used to prevent and treat malaria.

  4. Apr 06, 2014 I have UCTD and started on a low dose of Plaquenil 2years helped so much. Minor side effects subsided pretty make sure you get a visual Plaquenil at least 3 months to kick in,some people feel better sooner.
